Becky Cummings – Co-founder

Becky Cummings is an author, teacher, and mom of three. She loves kids and thinks they are divine little humans with unlimited curiosity and creativity. She also loves speaking her truth. Becky is blessed to combine these passions by writing children’s books that spread messages of love, hope, faith, health, and happiness. In the past four years, Becky has self-published 12 books that have sold over 200k copies, had several titles translated into five languages, and made it onto the shelves of big-box stores like Barnes & Noble and Target.

Before writing books, Becky started four successful companies, including Boundless Movement Tutoring. Over a decade, she managed over 10 tutors and empowered over 100 children to feel successful in school. Becky taught 4th and 5th grade for the Wethersfield Public Schools system in Connecticut for seven years.

Becky received her M.A. from the Neag School of Education out of the University of Connecticut, earning dual certification in Special and Elementary Education. She also obtained a 6th-year certificate from the University of Maine.

When she isn’t writing or planning for the opening of her school, you might find her salsa dancing, eating a veggie burrito at her favorite Mexican joint, or traveling to new places! She dreams of world-schooling her children by spending a year on a cruise ship sailing around the globe.

Jeff Cummings Headshot

Jeff Cummings – Co-founder

Jeff Cummings was born and raised in New England and attended Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire. Upon graduating, Jeff began what would be a successful 26-year career in Aerospace and Defense. Jeff was President of E.A. Patten Company for 10 years, led the M&A sale to a billion-dollar Stanley Black & Decker company, and was promoted to Division President. Shortly after, Jeff chose to retire, relocate to Florida and join his wife, Becky, on a very successful entrepreneurial journey, allowing him more time to be with his wife and children. He currently volunteers as a Florida Guardian ad Litem representing abused, neglected, and abandoned children in the courtroom and the community.

When Jeff isn’t devoting his time and energy to the opening of Free Kids Academy, you can find him tinkering on the bass guitar, racing his BMX bike with his children, or experimenting with new pizza recipes.
