Creative Explorations

Children have a daily block of time that increases with age to investigate areas of personal interest. They ask questions for research and learn through a variety of mediums to gain understanding. Higher-order thinking skills are used to build knowledge, leading to analysis and evaluation. Culminating projects encourage students to create something new. Community mentors and family volunteers help to facilitate projects. Students are also invited to teach their wisdom to others and learn new skills and ideas from their peers or mentors.
